Our tea server primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a high-quality guest experience. This role involves taking and fulfilling beverage orders, maintaining a clean and organized tea room, and upholding professional service standards.

Our tea server responsibilities includes:

Customer Service & Guest Experience

  • Greet and seat guests – Extend a warm welcome to guests and ensure they are comfortably seated.
  • Take and fulfill beverage orders – Accurately record and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages as requested.
  • Provide recommendations – Offer knowledgeable suggestions regarding different tea varieties and menu options.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction – Regularly check on guests to address their needs and resolve any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor – Exhibit friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism at all times.

Tea Room Maintenance & Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization – Ensure tables, chairs, and surrounding areas remain tidy and presentable.
  • Set and clear tables – Arrange tables with appropriate linens, silverware, and glassware, and clear them after use.
  • Wash and store tea equipment – Properly clean and store teapots, cups, and other serving items.
  • Restock supplies – Regularly replenish tea, coffee, and other necessary items.
  • Assist with additional duties – Support other operational tasks, including stocking, cleaning, or food preparation as required.
  • Process payments – Accurately handle transactions and payments.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff – Relay orders and communicate efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
  • Comply with health and safety standards – Follow all relevant hygiene and safety regulations.
